Dr. McMillan grew up in Nashville, TN. His family moved to West Nashville in 1983, and his Nashville roots run deep as his father grew up in Nashville. Dr. McMillan graduated from Hillwood High School in 1986.
After high school, Dr. McMillan earned a degree in Biochemistry from David Lipscomb University. After his undergraduate training, Dr. McMillan went to Clemson University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. After his Master’s Degree, Dr McMillan attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1999 with his DDS degree. Since his graduation, Dr. McMillan has completed Continuing Education in Implant
Dentistry, doing a Maxi course Residency, as well as post-graduate advanced training in Botox, Facial Esthetics, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Fixed Prosthodontics.
Dr. McMillan married Denise in 1991 and they are proud parents of two boys, Campbell and Matthew. When not doing dentistry, Dr. McMillan enjoys cooking, hiking, biking and strength conditioning. Dr. McMillan is also studying to complete his WSET Sommelier Certification.
Doug and his wife also love travel and seeing new places with friends and
family.
